On Thursday evening myself and my lovely friend Jodie attended the Saira Shoes event in the stunning location of Ninety Eight Bar Shoreditch.
When I was first invited to view the SS16 Saira collection the brand was new to me, which is always extremely exciting. On viewing previous collections and falling in love with some gorgeous silver toed boots I just knew I couldn't pass up the opportunity to be in the same room as these unique styles.
Saira Shoes are an independent British brand which specialises in elegant and feminine flats with a global inspired print, real statement pieces. As I am predominately a monochrome girl I found myself gravitating towards the most comfy looking loafers (as shown below) I would have loved to be able to try them on however looking around the room no one else seemed to be kicking their shoes off so I restrained myself.
We mingled with some other bloggers which was fun, events are just great for making new friends so hopefully we will be able to meet up with them all again over more bellini's of course. It was also fantastic to chat with some buyers from Anthropologie. I am a big Anthropologie home wear fan so I was probably a little too excited to meet these girls. I spent a while grilling them about their job, which fascinates me. They did humour me thankfully and I learnt a lot about how the industry works.
Oh and I got papped, haha ok maybe not quite but a girl can dream. Although the venue was stunning it was extremely dark which made photos pretty tricky. A professional photographer was wondering around snapping and managed to get both of the candid shots below.

After we had taken in all of the various styled shoes and eaten too many vegan spring rolls (oh my gawd they were good) Jodie and I went on the hunt for a porn star martini or 2. We had such a lovely catch up chatting about blogging apps, mortgages and totally putting the world to rights. One of the best things about blogging is meeting some truly wonderful people and I have been so lucky with my blogging babes.
Sounds like you had a really good time! Cute shoes too :)
