Threads Beauty Review

When the lovely people over at Threads Beauty got in touch with me to see if I wanted to try out some of their false eyelashes I nearly snatched their hands off. I am a massive fan of the effect falsies provide although I am not the best at applying them.

Usually I go for a very natural lash, the Ardell Wispies are my bae, so I have to be honest when these lashes came through my letterbox I was somewhat daunted. Especially the Charleston lashes they looked so long in the packet.  This morning I decided the only way to really write about these lashes was to put them to the test and as the Charleston ones scared me the most I thought I would be brave and give them a go.

The first thing I noticed about these lashes was the soft band, it always makes them much easier to apply than when the band is rigid. I trimmed them down a little to fit my eye width and then grabbed the glue. My biggest dislike about eyelash glue is when it comes in a paper 'one use only' packet. We want to take the glue out with us incase of emergencies don't we? On initial survey I thought that this was the case with Threads however it's actually extremely clever you pull the end off and then turn it over to create a lid so the glue is totally reusable.

The lashes went on very easily, once they were in place I didn't think they looked too long. They are light and comfortable to wear, I'm actually still wearing them now as I type. I have now had them on for just over 10 hours and there is only a tiny bit of lift on the right inner corner, I think that is pretty bloody good.

What do you think of Threads? Have you tried them before?

  1. I'm not a fan of wearing falsies as I have trouble applying them sometimes. But like these, when you do find a good pair they do instantly make you feel a little more glamorous even with your everyday makeup! They look great and will maybe have to give them a try! Great review.

  2. Your make up is gorgeous here Gemma! I'd love to get more into false lashes as they make such a difference to your look. I'd agree I'd want the glue in a little tube though!
