This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray

I have always struggled with sleeping, not only waking up numerous times throughout the night but also with the dropping off part. I seem to be shattered all day long but as soon as it is time to wind down and start snoozing I am wide awake. Obviously this is heightened during stressful life periods but even when I am care free I will be laying awake until the early hours thinking about ridiculous scenarios. Not totally ideal.

Maternity OOTD #AsSeenOnMe

As I have previously mentioned it is so tricky to find 'nice' maternity clobber. With the current heat wave situation (not complaining) I really wanted something loose and floaty but that wouldn't make me look like I was wearing a bin bag. Obviously my first stop shop is always ASOS so when I saw this little double layered number I had to snap it up.

ASOS A-LIST

One of the many things I love about ASOS is that you can shop so many unique brands that you otherwise would never have found. This gorgeous dip dye knit is by a brand called Stitch & Pieces, the ladders remind me of Kanye West's Yeezy range... but I promise that is definitely not why I purchased it. I also ordered my Converse on ASOS, and with excellent delivery and returns services you can understand why it is everyones absolute go to online clothing store!

2015 Fashion Picks

Every year there are a couple of items which become staple pieces in your wardrobe.

2015 was the year of the ...

...white converse. They aren't exactly cheap are they, converse? So I had been toiling with the idea of picking some up for a while. When the dainty girlie pair became available on ASOS I though rude not to really, and i've not looked back since.

...pointed boots. I didn't realise how boots that are pointed, even flats, make an outfit feel so dressy. I have lived in these pointed flats and will continue to do so as 2016 begins.

...suede biker. The colour of this jacket meant it went with every outfit, day to night. It is so easy to just throw on and I have been on most occasions.

...sparkle socks. These are something I have only fallen in love with in December but decided they deserved a mention. I especially like a bare leg, boot, hint of sock look.

...slogan tee. And in particular Brandy Melville. Alex introduced me to the shop when we was wandering down Carnaby Street and since then I have ventured there on a few occasions. I love the cute slogans and this one in particular has been my fave.

...striped pattern. Mainly under a pinafore dress to be honest, because I want to be Zoella ... obvs :)

...checked shirt. This is really just my all the time go to, but the River Island one above has been a firm favourite at the end of 2015.

...holographic purse. It's no secret that I am a huge LYDC fan. I can not wait to see the Spring/Sumer 2016 line, but for now these purses have been an everyday what's in my bag for me. You can still get a 10% discount with the code GEMMA10

...pinafore dresses. I am definitely probably too old to be wearing pinafore dresses, but again i'm trying to be Zoella ain't I! I actually find them super flattering and have built up quite a collection over 2015.

What was your favourite piece in 2015?

ASOS Party Picks

Its the most wonderful time of the year!

It's the time you can wear so much sequins and glitter that you give yourself a headache and there is nothing anyone can do about it, if someone so much as rolls an eye at your sparkles BAH HUMBUG what a bloody grinch!

So I for one definitely intend on taking full advantage of this festive time and let my inner magpie go batshit crazy! I have spent a far bit of time trawling through the pages of ASOS to bring to you what I think is the best glitzy party options, and aren't we lucky that for just £10 a year ASOS provides next day delivery such a bargain!

Faking it

It is fair to say that I agree with my mum when she says I am too old for a nose piercing, and honestly even being a human with seven tattoos and a 6mm stretched earlobe the thought of an actual piercing is not a happy one. However, Jess from Made in Chelsea has been rocking the old septum ring just lately and I feel like I want the option without the pain. This is where ASOS comes in (seriously do I shop anywhere else)

These little clips totally do the job, and had a few of you fooled over on my Instagram (sorry about that hehe) £12 for three isn't bad and you get silver, gold and rose gold, so you are covered. I have worn them throughout the day and can report back that they are very comfy and I soon forgot I even had it in to be honest.

What do you think? Would you fake it or are you an all or nothing kinda gal?

The type of shoes you make plans for

Now and again a pair of shoes come into your life that you want to make plans for, which is exactly what happened when I stumbled across these beauties on the new in section of ASOS.

They are certainly no average autumn heels, blue snakeskin with a pom pom on top just like the cherry on top of a cake! I am loving the pointed toe at the moment and the triangle shaped block heel looks a bit different as well as providing a comfortable height.

How would you style these wonders?

I Love Autumn

No honestly, I know every blog you read right now is probably saying the same but I actually mean it...I love autumn. A chance to feel cosy all the time, the different coloured leaves on the ground, the build up to Christmas whats not to love.

While we are talking about things I love, Brandy Melville. Alex introduced me to Brandy Melville a couple of weeks ago and ever since I haven't been able to walk down Carnaby Street without picking something up. They have the best quality T-shirts that are so hard to resist. If you haven't been in there before I forewarn you that 'one size fits all' which is probably not that true but it seems to fit me.

You might recognise this bag, that is if you read my Christmas wishing post last week and you will also now know that I am not a patient person. In my defence there was ONE left in the Zara in lakeside and basically a necessity as it fitted my blogging camera in without any struggle.

So mesh socks are apparently a thing, I picked up these ones that you can see peeping out the top of my boots last week from ASOS I love them by the way, and then last night my friend Xanthe uploaded a Primark haul video and she had picked some up from there, probably for less money than my ASOS ones. What do you think of these mesh socks? I sort of dig the way it looks.

If you happen to have watched a few of my youtube videos, especially the makeup ones, you may have noticed that I am a huge advocate of the Top Shop lipsticks. Last week whilst binge watching Autumn essentials videos I stumbled across Sarah LouLou's channel and she recommended boardroom a Top Shop shade I hadn't seen and perfect for the season, I just had to have it. I have been wearing it ever since.

New Favourite Dress

I am such a massive ASOS fan, if I told you how often I browse the new in section you would be worried for me .... and my bank balance. Even so just lately every time I see one of those MUST HAVE IT items it seems to be sold out in every size, when I saw this olive dungaree dress I was delighted to see a size 10 available and quickly snapped it up.

The thing I love the most about this dress is that it is just the right length, my 28 year old legs are no longer enjoying mini skirts. Secondly the fact that the detail is gold is totally up my street, I am the biggest yellow gold fan so this pleases me no end. The versatility is something else, in these photos I have paired it with a high necked jumper from Missguided and Topshop ballet flats for an every day look but it would be easy to dress up or even make it feel more edgy with a biker jacket and boots.

Incase you didn't get it yet I LOVE IT

And of course I paired it with Mabel

A really clever title about boots

As soon as the temperature dropped there was only one thing on my mind... my autumn closet. Shopping for winter clothes is so much more enjoyable that shopping for summer clothes, for me anyway. I lust over big baggy jumpers and living in jeans every day is a dream come true but the most exciting thing of all is the footwear.

A good pair of boots is as important as a good bra, or a good friend. They should be comfortable, multi functional and stylish and to my delight ASOS provided me with the perfect pair for the cooler months.

As part of the ASOS RUN WAY collection these pointed chelsea boots are the perfect accompaniment to any winter outfit. With a small 2 inch heel you feel the height without the burning sensation making them appropriate to wear all day and all night long.

The pointed toe adds a level of sophistication whereas the pony hair style material adds a bit of fun. I have had them in my hands a little over a fortnight and they have already become my go to choice. Keep your eyes peeled on our Instagram, they will be sure to be featured in many OOTD's to come.

I hope you like them as much as I do :)
