The Andi Walker Pop Up Experience

If you are a fan of TV's Master Chef you will already know the name Andi Walker. Andi fought his way to the semi-finals in the 2015 rounds of the popular show and now you can experience his food first hand by enjoying a six course tasting menu inspired by local Essex produce. I was lucky enough to be invited down to the Riverside Inn in Chelmsford for a foodie adventure of my own and I can tell you I was not disappointed.

Andi is now showcasing his wealth of experience within the food industry at his pop up restaurant with an ever changing six course menu buzzing with creativity, which will keep you interested for the duration.

PacaPod Mirano Review

When pregnant you have to make some really hard decisions ready for the future. One of them is what to invest in and what to bargain hunt for... one of the things you NEED is a changing bag.

This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray

I have always struggled with sleeping, not only waking up numerous times throughout the night but also with the dropping off part. I seem to be shattered all day long but as soon as it is time to wind down and start snoozing I am wide awake. Obviously this is heightened during stressful life periods but even when I am care free I will be laying awake until the early hours thinking about ridiculous scenarios. Not totally ideal.

Bourgee Chelmsford Launch Review

Lobster, Steak & Serious Style

Last Thursday I was one of the lucky ones invited to the launch of the new Bourgee Steak and lobster restaurant in Chelmsford. After the success of Bourgee Southend-on-Sea, Chelmsford was the perfect choice of location to open their flagship site within the city's newly created 'restaurant quarter'. For Bourgee this is only the beginning with new sites already secured in Bury St Edmonds and Norwich the future is looking very bright indeed for Bourgee.

Natural World Haircare Macadamia Oil Review

The first thing that springs to mind when looking at the Natural World Products is luxury. You would never believe this organic haircare range is so affordable. Natural World was born in London, Soho in fact, I just love using locally created products. I was kindly asked if I would review the Macadamia Oil range recently and I jumped at the chance. You hear a lot about Argan Oil and Coconut Oil but Macadamia Oil instantly had me intrigued.

The Libertines @ The 02

My history with The Libertines, or more accurately Pete Doherty is extensive. In fact it is probably the only constant throughout my adolescence. I first fell in love at the end of 2003 at the tender age of sixteen when they released their second album, I can't remember how I found them but on first listen I was hooked.

I've lost count at how many times I have seen Pete live, I was even lucky enough to be in the front row for a small gig at Shepherds Bush Empire once where he touched my hand (I did eventually have to wash it) I waited for hours out the back to try and get a photo but he never came ... I'm hopeful for one day!

Radical Skincare Review

Just lately I have been winning lots of competitions, this is the best turn of luck ever because I just don't win things.... well, actually I guess now I do.

Before Christmas I was fortunate enough to be chosen via Instagram to be sent a free Radical Skincare Cracker and I honestly couldn't have been more excited. If you haven't heard of Radical Skincare I would say it is time to get educated, the company was started by sisters Liz and Rachel, they are the daughters of Dr. Richard F. Edlich MD.PHD, world renowned Professor of Plastic Surgery you can read their story HERE

Originally the sisters had no intention of selling their products to the public, however after the huge success they had experienced personally they felt compelled to share the secret. And now I get to try it too - yay!

First I tried the Age-Defying Exfoliating Pads. On first impression they reminded me of the nail varnish remover pads, you know the ones? The pads reduce crows feet by 50% in just 2 weeks and for someone on the wrong side of 25 this is music to my ears.

The Eye Revive Creme was my favourite. The scent reminded me of watermelons and that alone had me looking forward to using it each day. It is so hydrating and luxurious. Since using morning and night the darkness around my eyes has visibly reduced.

Advanced Peptide Antioxidant Serum is the only serum fighting all 16 signs of ageing, it is clinically proven to give results. As someone who suffers from adult acne this is definitely up my street as not only does it combat redness but break outs too.

As my skin is fairly oily the Anti-Ageing Restorative Moisture was the perfect consistency, light and hydrating. It is absorbed quickly and leaves your skin feeling smooth and nourished.

So you may have gathered that I really enjoyed using these products, have you tried any Radical skincare? What did you think?

L'oreal True Match Genius - Review

When a product comes on the market claiming to be a 4 in 1 Primer, Foundation, Concealer and Powder it is surely worth reviewing.

I think I was watching a Fleur DeForce video when this product entered my consciousness and I felt compelled to purchase it. In all honesty I didn't really want to like it, it seemed very self indulgent of a piece of makeup to claim that it was the answer to everything, however honestly it is pretty good.

Although I personally wouldn't use it for any of the uses it claims to cover as my preferred choice. This product is a perfect touch up fix for during the day, save yourself carrying all four products in your bag chuck this one in and it will do the job.

The outcome of this is definitely worth a try, good to keep in the bag but not a product to use as a stand alone.

Two Faced Liquified Long Wear Lipstick

Last week I ordered a gorgeous blue pinafore dress from Motel (more on that later) when it arrived I was surprised to find a sample enclosed of the Two Faced Liquid Lipstick in the shade Melted Peony. It was a funny coincidence as I had earlier that day been telling my friend Katie that I had never used a liquid lipstick - Thank You makeup God's!

I am seriously impressed with this product it feels extremely hydrating on the lips and currently my lips are feeling a bit in need of extra help due to the weather. The stay power is amazing too which is one of the main things I look for with a lip product. The colour I received was melted peony which is a bright creamy pink colour, I can see myself wearing this a lot in the spring months.

If like Ralph you want to get your hands on a melted lipstick you can do so here
